Serving as the regional evangelism consultant with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, I work with college students across a 4-state region in the midwest. For the past nine years I’ve helped students learn how to share and demonstrate their faith in compelling and relevant ways. Learning together we integrate the teachings of Jesus to work towards justice, faith and compassion and the restoration of the college campus and this beautiful world God has given us. I’m thankful for how Jesus has shaped and changed my life and want others to experience his life-giving love.
I’m a wife to my fantastic husband Dave, and a mom to our son Reuben in Cleveland Heights, OH. 2011 is shaping up to be an exciting year for me; graduating from with a Masters of Arts in Evangelism and Leadership through Wheaton Graduate School in Illinois and having a new baby in July! Being an evangelist/mom/wife has it’s challenges but it keeps me dependent upon the Lord for his guidance and strength.
I also am a video contributor for the brand new ministry 30God.com, which provides 30 second videos from the perspectives of 7 different video bloggers from across the country. Using pop culture, vulnerable stories and humor are ways that the Holy Spirit speaks through me as I teach to effectively connect with audiences at every stage of their spiritual journey. OK ok ok first let me say that you are so inspiring! I love to see women in the ministry, basically because I’m a woman who would love to be in ministry. I’m Becca and I’m 23 and let me just say that I would LOVE for you to come to speak or have a training engagement! I know personally I have the boldness part down about sharing my faith just most of the time I don’t know how to go about doing it and I have a lot of friends who feel the same way. So I have a question how far do you noramlly travel I ask because I am in Louisiana.
